Section 1 - What do we do with your information?

When you purchase a subscription from our platform, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address.

When you browse our platform, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system to improve your user experience.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, or process a refund, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Section 4 - Payment

We use Razorpay for processing payments. We do not store your card data on our servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Section 5 - Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. Section 6 - Security & Encryption Architecture

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

Client-Managed Encryption (User-Controlled Privacy)

Unlike standard platforms, Destyl utilizes a Client-Managed Encryption architecture for sensitive data. Your feedback data and form responses are encrypted using keys generated on your device. These master keys are never stored on Destyl’s persistent storage.

When you request AI analysis, your data is decrypted ephemerally in volatile memory solely for the purpose of generating insights and is immediately discarded. This ensures that your raw data remains encrypted at rest and is never accessible to Destyl administrators or third parties for permanent viewing.

If you provide us with credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Section 7 - Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your session on the platform. These are strictly necessary for the operation of the service and are not used to personally identify you on other websites.

Section 8 - Age of Consent

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Section 10 - Google User Data & Limited Use

Types of Google Data We Access

If you choose to connect your Google Forms account to Destyl, we request access to:

• Form Responses (forms.responses.readonly): We fetch the text answers submitted by respondents to your selected surveys.
• Form Metadata (forms.body.readonly): We fetch question titles to map answers to specific topics.

How We Use Google Data

We use this data solely to provide the core features of our platform:

1. Sentiment Analysis: Processing text responses to determine positive, negative, or neutral sentiment.
2. Risk Detection: Identifying critical keywords in feedback.
3. Visualization: Generating charts and word clouds for your dashboard.

Data Sharing & AI Processing

We do not sell Google User Data to third parties.

• To perform sentiment analysis, anonymized text snippets from Form Responses may be processed by our AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI). These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their models.
• We do not use your Google Workspace data to train our own generalized AI models without your explicit permission.

Limited Use Disclosure

Destyl's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
